To the artists of the world
April - 2025
Imagine if Charles Bradley worked in construction, Basquiat a Lawyer. Jobs in finance, Kapil Gupta as a motivational speaker.
Could this have possibly happened? From my understanding, most definitely not.
For their calling was so loud that the noise of the world was inaudible.
They never needed to listen to their hearts. It was all they could hear.
He who does not listen to the noise of the world can only listen within.
And in doing so, he permits his soul to speak.
Maybe the world hears it, maybe it does not.
For art is not supposed to be heard. It isn't even made for the world.
We are just lucky we can partially understand.

To the artists of the world,
to those that are with us and those that have passed, I am deeply grateful for your lives. You have listened to your heart and let your inner divine shine. You have expressed what is inexpressible in the many possible forms that are expressible. You have allowed us to feel part of what you felt. For to express you listened to what is inexpressible, to some extent you have also let us feel what is inexpressible too. You have allowed us to look within. To feel. To love.
For those that have expressed their craft and shown it to the world, it is with immense gratitude that I cherish your existence. For you have inspired me to listen within.
Thank you.
